Trial by Jury

The past week was unusual, but quite interesting. Halloweek is typically fun for me because at school there is a different set of kids every day having their Halloween party. As a result, I'm usually wearing a different costume every day to celebrate with each set of kids. That shakes up my normal routine nicely, so it's always a week I look forward to. This year, however, I received a summons to appear for jury selection on Mon, Oct 28th.

Book List 2018

This past year, I decided to do the Pioneer Book reading challenge, which I think I mentioned on my last post. Mostly, I wanted to earn the $50 gift certificate they were offering as a reward, but I also thought it might be fun to stretch myself in my reading a bit. I usually only read books in the public domain, so it was different having to look for more recent books this year.
